Terms of Service
Product: Guardix (https://guardix.io). Contact: guardix@dome.net. Effective date: 3 November 2026. Related: Privacy Policy and Security & data handling.
"Guardix" and "we" in these terms mean the operator of the guardix.io service. These terms do not name a separate legal entity, registered address, or governing law. Contact remains guardix@dome.net.
These terms govern use of the Guardix website and audit product. By creating an account, starting an audit, or paying for a run, you agree to them.
1. The service
Guardix provides automated smart-contract (and related) security analysis. You select a repository and commit; we run an audit job and deliver a report with findings and evidence. How we access code, what we retain, and which model providers see code during a run is described on /security/ and in the Privacy Policy.
Guardix is a tool. It does not replace a human security review, formal verification, or a guarantee that every vulnerability will be found.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep access credentials under your control. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at guardix@dome.net if you believe the account was compromised.
You may sign in with GitHub or Google. Repository access is a separate GitHub App installation you control. You must have the right to grant that access for every repository you select.
3. Fees and payment
Standard pricing for a Guardix audit is published on /pricing/ (currently a flat fee of USD 200 per audit unless a different price is shown at checkout or agreed in writing). Payment is due through our payment processor before or as part of starting a paid run, as the product flow shows.
Fees are generally non-refundable once an audit job has started, except where required by law or where we agree in writing (for example a failed run caused solely by our systems).
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Guardix on code or repositories you are not allowed to access or submit
- Attempt to break into, overload, or reverse engineer the service beyond normal use
- Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement
- Use the product to violate applicable law
We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or risk to the service or other users.
5. Your content and confidentiality
You retain ownership of your source code and other materials you submit. You grant Guardix a limited license to process that material solely to provide the audit, store artifacts as described on /security/, and operate share links you create.
We treat your non-public code and audit artifacts as confidential and do not publish them unless you create a share link or you instruct us otherwise. Model providers receive code only as needed to run the analysis, through their commercial APIs, as stated on the security page.
6. Our materials
The Guardix site, product UI, documentation, and branding are owned by Guardix or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that audits will be uninterrupted, error-free, or complete, or that every security issue will be detected.
Findings are informational. You decide how to act on them. Guardix is not legal, investment, or compliance advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Guardix and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data or business interruption, arising from use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid Guardix for the audit run giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim, or (b) USD 200.
Some places do not allow these limits. There, liability is capped only as far as local law allows.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Guardix against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your lack of rights in submitted repositories, or your violation of these terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms for new activity. Material changes may also be called out in product notices when practical.
You may stop using Guardix at any time. We may stop offering the service or terminate accounts with reasonable notice when practicable, or immediately for breach or security risk.
