Accuracy and false positives
Validation reduces noise
Section titled “Validation reduces noise”Multi-engine validation means findings that survive cross-checks are more likely to be actionable — but no automated system is perfect.
False positives
Section titled “False positives”You may still see:
- Issues that do not apply to your deployment model
- Theoretical problems that are mitigated elsewhere
- Duplicates described differently before consolidation
Use severity, confidence, and your domain knowledge together.
False negatives
Section titled “False negatives”Automated tools can miss bugs, especially:
- Complex cross-contract interactions
- Economic or governance attacks
- Issues outside the snapshot’s scope
Treat Guardix as a strong automated layer, not the only layer.
Recommended practice
Section titled “Recommended practice”Combine Guardix with internal review, tests, and external audits sized to your risk and stage.
